Basketball Schedule

Practice starts on 11/16. The first games are December 2nd or December 3rd. The schedule will be sent out within the next couple of weeks.

Attendance

It is important for your children to attend school regularly. A student who misses more than 12 days is considered chronically absent, which will negatively impact their success in school. If your child already has 5 or more absences, they are missing a significant amount of instruction. If you would like a copy of your child's attendance record, please speak with the front office. Please keep track of your child's absences, as they can add up quickly.

Basketball 5th and 6th Grade

Basketball for 5th and 6th Graders

Practice begins on November 16. All students must have a physical examination completed before they can participate in practice. All 5th and 6th graders are eligible to join the team.

6th Grade: Students can try out to play for JFK. If you are interested, please contact JFK. Athletes must have a middle school physical form.

4th Grade: We cannot guarantee a spot on the team. If there is room on the basketball team, we will allow the first students who sign up to play. Feel free to sign up your student, and they will be on a waiting list.

Thanksgiving Dinner on 11/6. Tickets are $7 for friends and family. Please make sure to preorder tickets to make sure you have a spot. The tickets sell out every year.
